Oprah Winfrey“On a global scale women are more important than men”, explains Mikhail S. Gorbachev, President of the World Awards. “They bear many responsibilities and very rarely receive the recognition they deserve. It was the time to establish an event to honor exceptional women who have changed our world for the better.”
Over 500 million people were able to follow the last Women’s World Awards ceremony. This year’s gala will be held in Vienna, Austria, where 12 extraordinary ladies will be honored for their achievements. The 12 categories include World Achievement Award, World Actress Award, World Fashion Award and Woman of the Year.
