Amid fears about the deepening global recession, there's concern amongst the region's oil and gas producers about lower revenues. It's forced OPEC to reduce supplies steadily and even prompted non-Opec producers like Azerbaijan to cutback production. The President of Azerbaijan tells MME why he thinks there should be greater cooperation between oil producing countries to control prices and provide long term energy security.
